LAMÉ MAGAZINE : What are your names and official titles?

CONFETTI CROWD : Heidi Petit Jean: Singer/Songwriter

                 Cheyenne Davide: DJ/Presenter

                 Lucy Rance: Fashion Designer

                 Tigerlilly Winfield: Freelance Photographer

Helena Lester-Card: CEO of Sassy World

LM : Describe Confetti Crowd in a sentence?

CC :  Sassy and colourful independent women teaming together to rock the blogosphere!

LM : How did you meet?

CC  : We’ve all met through blogging and photoshoots! Lulu introduced most of us when she was working at Motel Rocks and we were doing blogger shoots with them.

LM : How did you come to create a blogging girl gang?

CC : Heidi came up with the idea because she felt there was a lack of appreciation for bloggers who were less mainstream and more crazy and colourful. She thought it would be fun to make quintuple the impact with 5 of us!

LM : What’s your blogs message?

CC :  We wanted to upload lots of colourful outfit posts and collaborations to inspire girls to dress however they want. We also want to encourage girl power and animate that we should be supporting each other, not competing.

LM : What does Confetti Crowd stand for?

CC :  Girl Power! And sass obvs :D

LM : You all wear quite a lot of pink yet more trousers than dresses. What do you think of agender dressing?

CC :  Trousers can be more practical than skirts sometimes. Gender rules are boring and limiting, we think girls and boys should dress however the hell they want!

LM : What do you love about living and working in London?

CC :  Most of the fashion industry is here so it’s great for meeting up with brands, designers and photographers and going to all the cool events! There’s so much to do here it’s never boring and creativity is supported.

LM : Do you each have individual muses and inspirations or are they shared? What are they?

CC :  We love other blogs such as How Two Live, street style and different eras such as the 70s and 90s. We are huge fans of the Spice Girls!

LM : Where do you get all those fabulous clothes from?

CC :  We collaborate with some really cool brands as well as mixing and matching them with vintage pieces. Our favourite places to shop online are ASOS and Sassy World and we love supporting independent designers.

LM : What’s been your favourite/most memorable look?

CC :  I think our very first blog post was one of our memorable because we wore some of our favourite pieces from our own wardrobes to show our future readers that this is us. We are colourful, fun and a little crazy!

LM : Have you considered forming a band? I think our generation is in need of a Spice Girls-type girl group.

CC : Omg that would be the dream! However Heidi is the only singer of the group so I’m not sure how well it would turn out haha. We often get asked when we were out and about in London if we’re a girl band!

LM : How did you build such a great fanbase?

CC :  We’ve all been running our personal blogs for a little while now so some readers have come from there. Confetti Crowd is still really new (about 3 months old) so we are still building a following but I guess we are fresh, exciting and the first ever girl gang so that helps!

LM : Can we expect a Confetti Crowd clothing line or shop in the near future?

CC  : Maybe ;)
